Glorious Ghent
Erin and I decided that it was time for a girls day out, so we left the kids with the boys in Brussels and drove up to Ghent. It took less than an hour, and again, because Belgium is so organised, it was pretty straight forward. We did accidentally park in a hotel when we first arrived, but thankfully worked it out pretty quickly and managed to move our car just in time. In 2004 Scott and I spent 5 days driving around Belgium and Holland. It was one of my favourite little mini-break that we ever took. The first place we visited was Bruges. Both of us absolutely adored this little town and I can highly recommend going if you are in the area. It is old, quaint, small and easy to walk around.
